The Color Run

I ran The Color Run yesterday with some friends and had a blast! Proceeds from registration went to Read Bama Read, which raises money to fund libraries and purchase new books.

SOPA (90s Style)

For everyone that was in a tizzy over the websites blacked out (Wikipedia, etc.) in protest of SOPA yesterday, please always remember your local library holds all the information Wikipedia holds, and maybe more.  And there are friendly librarians always willing to help answer your questions.  So follow Arthur and friends' advice and go get a library card.

Library School humor

As my first semester of graduate school comes to a close, I am thankful for the new friends I have made, all that I have learned, and a new blog to follow regularly: Hey girl. I like the library too. This blog has given my library school friends and me several laughs recently and provided some much needed entertainment while working on our final projects.  Just to spotlight a few of my favorites:
